I am part of the Safeguarding team here at Handsworth Grange School covering maternity leave. I am passionate about supporting pupils to feel safe, happy and valued and for every pupil to reach their full potential. For the past 25 years I have enjoyed working with children and their families, supporting with a wide range of issues. My degree is in Early Childhood Studies but have experience of working in various roles across Sheffield’s 0-19 service

You can talk to me if anything is bothering you about home or school, and I will do my best to support. I can help families to get support from relevant agencies or organisations, and attend professional meetings if required. Some issues I help students with are issues around wellbeing, mental health, self-harm, home life, sleep, drug or alcohol use, relationship issues, young carers, bereavement and so on. If you are ever in doubt just ask, I am always happy to listen!
