Young Carers
We actively work to identify and support any new Young Carers in Year 7. Each Year 7 pupil is asked to complete a Caring Questionnaire and pupils identified as Young Carers from this questionnaire will be offered extra support in school if needed. We have many fantastic and dedicated young people in our school who work selflessly and tirelessly to support and care for family members with long term health issues. Handsworth Grange Community Sports College has achieved the Bronze Award from the Carers' Trust for the work we do in identifying and supporting our Young Carers.
