Prior to being Deputy Headteacher for Quality of Education, I was an Assistant Headteacher at HGCSC for 5 years leading on Teaching and Learning and the Implementation and quality assurance of the curriculum. I also lead on staff CPD. Before HGCSC, I worked as Subject Leader for Business and Economics at High Storrs School. I was a student myself at King Edward VII school in Sheffield before going to Leeds University to study Business and Public Relations. I have a PGCE in Business Education from Sheffield Hallam University. I am passionate about social mobility, and I believe no matter where you come from, you can be hugely successful if you work hard and embrace the opportunities that school gives you.
