With over 5 years of experience of working with children and their families in Rotherham and Sheffield, I initially started as Behaviour / Pastoral Support, progressing to Head of Year and now to a Safeguarding role. I have a degree and also hold a Masters’ in Developmental Psychology.
I ensure that all of our pupils are healthy, happy and safe, inside or outside of school, working closely with other professionals. I’m passionate about making sure every child has access to a safe education and endeavour to make a positive impact on the lives of our young people here at Handsworth.
I can help with:
Supporting pupils with issues around wellbeing, mental health, home life, attendance, drug or alcohol use, emotion regulation, bereavement – the list goes on! Helping families get the support they need from relevant agencies and charities.
