I have 28 years of experience working in the education sector in two different secondary schools. My specialist subject is PE and I was subject leader for PE for many years before taking on the role as a senior leader. I have spent the last 13 years working as a Senior Leader within the school with the responsibility for Inclusion, safeguarding and behaviour.
Within my role as a senior Leader I have developed inclusive practices and significantly improved pastoral care and the outcomes and life chances of the young people regardless of their social or economic background. Over the past 13 years I have developed expertise in all forms of inclusive practice including attendance, behaviour management, safeguarding, special educational needs, alternative provision and pastoral care. I am passionate about ensuring we deliver a high quality educational experience for all our students and I have a relentless drive to achieve this.
