I have worked at HGCSC for the past 15 years, making my way from classroom teacher to Assistant Headteacher. Along the way I have held a variety of positions, including PE KS3 coordinator, Whole School Numeracy coordinator, teaching and learning coach, Head of Year, Lead Practitioner, and Senior Mentor Coordinator.
I was born and raised in the Peak District where I still live to this day, only leaving for four years to study PE and Sports Science at Leeds Carnegie University.
My main interests center on the `science of learning` and utilising technology to aid teaching and learning and reducing workload.
