I’m part of the Safeguarding Team and I’m here to support pupils and their families. I hold an important role in making sure that all of our pupils are healthy, happy and safe, whether that’s inside or outside of school. I may work closely with families and speak regularly to parents and carers. I will also work with other professionals that may be involved with pupils and their families. You can talk to me in school if there is anything bothering or upsetting you and I will try my very best to help you. This may be us meeting regularly for check ins, taking part in groups or I can help identify if there may be other support across Sheffield that could help you. I am also the Young Carers Lead in school and will work closely to identify, support and raise awareness about our fantastic Young Carers.
I can help with:
Supporting pupils with issues around wellbeing, mental health, self-harm, home life, sleep, being a young carer, drug or alcohol use, relationship issues, bereavement and so on… Helping families get the support they need from relevant agencies and charities. Having conversations with parents and carers to support their child and create a link between home and school.
