I have an undergraduate degree in Criminology and Social Policy from the University of Lincoln and a PGCE from Sheffield Hallam University. I started out in prison education, then moved on to work with a range of disengaged students and SEND student in further education. I absolutely loved my job as a pastoral tutor, so I applied for a role in the pastoral team at Handsworth Grange in 2021 and became Head of Year for Y7s at the time, and I’ve loved it ever since! As well as my year group, I take care of two mischievous cats and a huge number of house plants.
